Artesano

Based in Miami and founded by Ecuador-born Claudia and Xavier, Artesano showcases their homeland’s proud heritage of craftsmanship. Artesano’s Panama hats, packable hats, bags, and other accessories are handcrafted by artisans working from their homes on the coast and in the mountains of Ecuador, using techniques passed down for thousands of years.

Some of the sustainable and natural materials used in the making of their accessories are Toquilla straw made from the Carludovica Palmata plant (popular in Panama hats), Piñatex, a leather-like material made of leftover pineapple leaves, and Tagua beads, which are handcrafted from seeds.

Artesano is known for their chic, high quality wide brim, boater, Panama hats and other classic silhouettes for both men and women, along with artisan woven bags in both natural and bold hues.
