54kibo works with artisans across Africa and its Diaspora—Ghana, Ethiopia, South Africa, the Caribbean and more—to bring luxury African home decor to consumers in the US and beyond. Based in New York City, the brand was founded by Nana Quagraine, who wanted to bring the contemporary African design she enjoyed growing up in South Africa to a broader audience. She brought together a team of over 50 design experts from Africa and beyond to source and produce decor and housewares for the online destination that would honor its artistry and craftsmanship. The name “54kibo” represents Africa’s 54 countries, and the continent’s highest point, Kibo, on Mt. Kilimanjaro.

54kibo offers African home decor including luxury pillows, wall art, decorative accents, tableware, and gifts. They also
