Has everyone here seen the Barbie movie yet? (I’d assume so, according to the box office records it has crushed so far.) This fabulous film has spurred a Barbie revival and now it’s all pink and teal and candy colors only from here on out! And when 90s nostalgia and pastels are already your jam, having even more options out there that suit your style is a big opportunity. Of course, getting inspired to refresh your wardrobe doesn’t come without consequence. Fast fashion is making a killing off of the Barbie aesthetic. I don’t blame people wanting to shop such a playful trend, but seeing unethical brands like Shein profiting off its success is not just an unfortunate side effect, it’s in stark contrast to the message of the movie itself (but, no spoilies). So, if you want to shop in a way that is a bit more empowering to the people behind the seams, we’ve rounded up a cute set of ethical Barbie core alternatives for all you sustainable Barbies out there!

You can also click into each of the brands listed and learn more about them as well as shop more of their products.
